REACT is a not-for-profit organization that provides communications for emergency and non-emergency events through the use of Citizen Band (CB), General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS), Amateur (HAM) radio, and other forms of wireless communications.

REACT stands for Radio Emergency Associated Communications Team. REACT teams are located in most of the 50 states, Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean Islands. REACT International, Inc., is headquartered in Washington D.C.

Lake Washington REACT is centered in Kirkland, Washington, but has members from Shoreline, Seattle, Everett, and Redmond. Our team currently has 6 members, 2 of which are licensed GMRS operators, and 2 who are licensed amateur radio operators. We provide non-emergency communications for events including parades, local fairs, races, and other assortment of activities. We also provide emergency communications, for things like fires, earthquakes, flooding, and man-made disasters. We currently work along side the Kirkland Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) where we currently have a citizen band radio located in the cities Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
